Best Flu Bomb Recipe

Ingredients

  • ½ inch fresh turmeric sub 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 inch fresh ginger sub 1 tsp ginger powder
  • 1 cup filtered water
  • 1 lemon
  • 1 garlic clove
  • ¼ tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp raw apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tsp raw honey
  • 1 pinch black pepper
  • 1 pinch cayenne pepper optional

Instructions

  • Mince garlic and set aside for 10 minutes. This allows antibacterial properties to activate.
  • Peel and slice the fresh turmeric and ginger. Combine with water in a pot and bring to a boil. Immediately remove from heat to steep until it cools to a warm temperature, about 15-20 minutes.
  • Strain turmeric and ginger liquid into a cup. Add juice of one lemon, minced garlic (I actually just gulp it down with a sip of water so the drink tastes better), cinnamon, apple cider vinegar, honey, black pepper, and cayenne pepper.
  • Stir to combine and enjoy. Drink 3x a day until symptoms subside.
