Ingredients
½inchfresh turmeric sub 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1inchfresh gingersub 1 tsp ginger powder
1cupfiltered water
1lemon
1garlic clove
¼tspcinnamon
1tbspraw apple cider vinegar
1tspraw honey
1pinchblack pepper
1pinchcayenne pepperoptional
Instructions
Mince garlic and set aside for 10 minutes. This allows antibacterial properties to activate.
Peel and slice the fresh turmeric and ginger. Combine with water in a pot and bring to a boil. Immediately remove from heat to steep until it cools to a warm temperature, about 15-20 minutes.
Strain turmeric and ginger liquid into a cup. Add juice of one lemon, minced garlic (I actually just gulp it down with a sip of water so the drink tastes better), cinnamon, apple cider vinegar, honey, black pepper, and cayenne pepper.
Stir to combine and enjoy. Drink 3x a day until symptoms subside.
